"When I started the Accounts Technician Course, I was doing basic manual bookkeeping and payroll in an office. I did the course so I could change to computerised accounts but I learned much more that I ever expected to. The fact that I could learn at my own pace was extremely helpful. If I couldn't grasp something, I just kept at it, with the help of my two competent supervisors, until I understood it. Then I moved on to the next module, but only when I was ready to do so.
