Course Title: Sales Negotiation
Awarding Body: The Further Education and Training Council (FETAC)
The Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) was established on 11 June 2001 under the Qualifications (Education and Training) Act, 1999. It is the single national awarding body for the further education and training sector in Ireland and is now responsible for making awards that were previously made by CERT (Now Failte Ireland), FAS, the National Council for Vocational Awards (NCVA) and Teagasc. FETAC makes awards to learners on a vast range of programmes offered by providers of many different types. This course offers a FETAC Level 6 Award.
Intended Audience: This highly participative programme is suitable for the seasoned professional wanting to refresh their skills, or the salesperson needing a structured approach to the sales process. Either way this course will allow delegates to develop a blueprint to create a higher level of sales to ensure they achieve their targets. The presenters of this course are not only experienced sales trainers, but they also have a proven track record in sales and sales management.

- Cultivate negotiating skills that will enhance their chances of business success
- Acquire the skills to prepare and plan effectively for a sales negotiation
- Understand the roles and functions people play within the customer’s organisation with whom they are negotiating
- Develop an awareness of strategies to deal with people in the customer organisation
- Cultivate a persuasive style of conducting a professional sales negotiation
- Understand how customer behaviour can influence the negotiation strategy
- Explore ways to identify and deal with common barriers to achieving a sale
- Acquire the skills to prepare and plan effectively for a sales negotiation
- Understand the roles and functions people play within the customer’s organisation with whom they are negotiating
- Develop an awareness of strategies to deal with people in the customer organisation
- Cultivate a persuasive style of conducting a professional sales negotiation

Registration: Closing date for course registration with Genesis Business College September 10th.
Cost per Year: Fees payable per academic year. Tuition Cost €400. Books are an extra cost.
