Course Title: Business Studies DiplomaAwarding Body: Institute of Commercial Management(ICM)
ICM is the leading professional body for Commercial and Business Development Managers and fully accredited QCA/Ofqual awarding and examining body for business and management students. A registered educational charity based in Christchurch, England, ICM was founded in 1979 and now has global operations in more than 130 countries and in excess of 100,000 students studying for ICM examinations every year.
Intended Audience:
Covering all the major business studies areas and topics, the ICM Diploma in Business Studies programme has, over a fifteen year period, achieved international recognition and is now undertaken by students in over 100 countries. In addition to providing a comprehensive knowledge of each of the major business functions, the structure of the course ensures that students have the widest possible range of career, employment and higher education options open to them on completion of their studies
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
18 years or over.
Relevant Work experience.
Exemptions
Students who may already have ICM modules may enroll for exemptions.

Part 1
1. International Business Communications
2. Business Management & Administration
3. Numeracy & Statistics
4. Marketing
(A Certificate in Business Studies is awarded on completion of all Part 1 subjects)
Part 2
5. Accounting
6. Economics for Business
7. Business Law
8. Organisational Behaviour
(The Diploma in Business Studies is awarded on completion of Parts 1 & 2)
Registration: Closing date for course registration with Genesis Business College September 11th.
Duration: 2 Year Course. 22 Weeks per year. 2 nights per week from week of Sept 22nd.
Cost per Year: Fees will be payable per academic year. Fees for Year 2008-2009 €1200. Books, Registration and Examination Fees Extra.
Further Study: Other Business Management/Studies Programmes.
This course is run both the Kilkenny and Wexford Centres and is run subject to sufficient demand
